We had a bit of fun with our victorian chaise out at Jordan Lake. It was quite fun placing upon it one beautiful family… then dudding down for some more r&r like family photos. :) Jordan Lake was the place to be for this session — the leaves were gorgeous and day was sunny and bright!

He was soooooooo not interested in pictures … much more interested in sticks and spatulas. ;) Yes, you read that right. :) This is why I wonder how toy companies stay in business … it’s the kitchen utensils and pots and pans companies that really get kids! ;)

This adorable little girl is turning 5 and she had the shirt to prove it! She was so easy going and fun to photograph. Don’t you just love the curls and that sweet smile?!

It’s all about the dress with a bridal portrait and this was one session where the dress was drop dead gorgeous! The beading was just beautiful! Of course, we shot these back in October … but had to keep them secret until today … wedding day!

We had a little bit of fun too! :)

We always talk about how little girls are dressed and never little boys. Well, this boy’s outfit certainly needs a shout out :) The hat, the tie, even the shoes (although you can’t see them here) were perfect!

Congratulations Kathleen & Alex!

These two (the perfect blend according to their wedding favors!) were married October 25th of this year! They’ve been planning for what seems like ages … and then in one day … all the wonderful festivities happened! Despite the threat of rain, it was a gorgeous day and the bride & groom, their friends and families seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. This, despite the cold the groom caught!

It was a blessing to get to work with these guys! They are so funny, so sweet and so perfect for each other! And, having known Alex (aka Mr. Changho to our son and us) for the last 6 years, it was an even more fun event for me!!

So … on to some photos! :)

I have had the pleasure of photographing this little one twice now! Can you say adorable??? :) Think of her as the perfect subject … those smiles were REAL and almost too easy (ha! don’t hold me to that next time!)
